Crufts 2009 Qualification for Entry of Dogs
In 2006 the rules changed in showing for Alaskan Malamutes with the introduction of Challenge certificates.(cc's) This will now mean instead of gaining your place with a placing at any championship show, there are only 7 Champion shows throughout the whole year where a placing from 1st to 3rd will gain you a chance at Crufts. Well in simple terms it's much more difficult to qualify for Crufts. The seven shows are as followed,
you can only quailfy in classes Minor Puppy, Puppy, Junior, Post Graduate ,Limit, Open and Veteran.
Special Yearling & Novice class WILL NOT QUAILYFY !
N.B In order to show your dog in the UK (and at Crufts), your dog must either be already registered with the Kennel Club or you must have obtained an Authority to Compete (ATC) number from the Kennel Club.
