News 2009
Our showing this year will be very limited for the girls, Nikita and Inca last show for the year will be at Crufts, as we feel we want to give them a years break from the show ring ............... Nero is now up in the Limit/open classes, and has done very well with being awarded 2 RESERVE BEST DOG at champshow level. Nero has 5 points so far to achieve his show certificate of Merit so he will be hitting some open shows soon to hopefully gain some points! Watch out for this boy in a ring near you!
A great start to the Year Nero takes 6 BEST OF BREEDS 2 BEST AVNSC and 15 more points for his title making it 20 points!

Nero has been DNA tested for the longcoat gene!
Here at wintadreama we want to move forward with in the breed that's why we fill it's so important to help with health research! All our dogs have been DNA tested for HC (Hereditary cataracts)

A very quiet month for us as sadly we want be going to any rallies this year!
News from Malta- Nero's sire King takes his 23 BEST IN SHOW!...................we are so proud and happy for this great dog. Congratulations to Ivan & Denis.
Nero at Kensington show takes his 8th BEST OF BREED gaining his 20th point!
Nero at Barking show he takes his 7th BEST OF BREED for this year. And I handle Troy again to PUPPY WORKING GROUP 1!
Nero's write up - "I loved this 2 1/2 year old boy.He presents a wonderful picture of balance & power.He is well boned & nicely muscled which showed when he motored around the ring.Such a good example of the breed & presented in fabulous coat & condition.A real pleasure to award him Best of Breed !!!!!!!! "
At Horsham & District Nero wins 1st and another BEST AVNSC gaining another point making it 18! But the star of the day was Troy, Once again I handled this lovely boy with a very deserving placing of BEST PUPPY IN SHOW! Well done to his proud own Donna and I thank her so much for intrusting me with her special boy!
At Portsmouth and Southsea show Nero takes RESERVE BEST AVNSC, and I Handle Troy for Donna taking BEST PUPPY AND WORKING GROUP 3!
Me and Donna made the very long trip up to Driffield champ show, The Judge was Mr Richard C Kinsey.
Troy was placed VHC and our Nero won his class and went into the challenge and was awarded RESERVE BEST DOG, beaten by the lovely Logan owned by Sue Ellis of Chayo kennel, this was a great result from a entry of 49 boys! Also well done to Charl with Nero's cousin Cruz winning his class. All in all a good day out.

We competed at Darlington champion show, Our Judge was Miss Jo Sugden. Nero is placed 1st place another great result for our boy! Many thanks to Mark and Tracey for taking me to the show and well done to there Oska and Cutters placement. Well done to Nero's cousin "Cruz" handled by Charl and to Sue with Logan a great line up for the best dog which was won by Logan.

Nero's write up "Not the biggest dog but typifies the breed in all ways. Makes a great shape picture standing, lovely outline well balanced with good thick coat, beautiful tailset and carriage. Sufficient... bone, good front with strong pasterns and compact feet. Great head with true malamute expression. Very well presented. Shame he lost his spark in the challenge.
At Richmond champ show Nero had his second time in the Open class and took VHC from a entry of 8!

first show of the month we were at the Birmingham champ show, our judge was Mr S Philips. With no limit class Nero had to go into the open class with 9 entered, Nero did us so proud taking 2nd place, this was the first time he had entered the open class at a champshow! well done Nero.

At the end of the month we made our way up to AMWA Salisbury Fun Weekend , Thank you so much to Ruth & Steve Whitfield & all the AMWA committee for such a wonderful wonderful weekend...................The days was spent with great friends, relaxing, chatting, eating lots of naughty foods!. The scurry was very entertaining who was won by musher Sue Smith pulled by her speedy male Mark Squires! We had fun at the quiz night and Nikita and Inca competed in the dog show with Inca taking 1st and Nikita 3rd place..............We enjoyed wonderful walks and even taking the dogs swimming! All in all a great weekend.

At the Welsh Kennel Club show our Judge was Mrs E Cartledge. I handled troy with 4th place from a class of 12!................................. Sadly Nero was not placed and the girls made a special appearance out! Nikita was beautifully shown by Tracey in open class but also sadly not placed but the star of the day was Inca.................Me and Inca have not been in the show ring together since CRUFTS and we go and take 1st in the huge limit bitch class (19 Entries)............................she was a star, on top form and moved so so nice and fast!........................Well done to the coldspell kennel on Oska's placement who has now qualified for Crufts!

At Clacton open show Nero takes BEST AVNSC & WORKING GROUP 1! This gave him 5 more points now making 17!................. I handled Troy for Donna taking PUPPY WORKING GROUP 2.
Nero and I competed at Bournemouth Championship Show our judge was Mr N Melling Nero was in Limit dog and takes 1st place and goes onto take RESERVE BEST DOG...........Out of 33 males we are so proud of our boy. Also at the show I once again handled Troy for Donna, Troy took 3rd place from a class of 8. Well done to Bryony and Ghost on there 2nd place in puppy and to Tracey with her 2 boys, 2nd and 4th. All in all a great day out.

Paignton Championship Show, quite a bit of travelling involved, but we had a lovely day out. Many thanks to Mark & Tracey for putting up with me once again! Our judge was breed specialist Kath Howarth. Nero was placed 4th in the large limit class missing that qualifying place. Well done to Tracey and Mark with Oska's 5th and Cutters 5th Place. And I handled Troy for Donna in the Puppy class taking 1st and BEST PUPPY DOG! So big well done to Donna.

At Peterbough show Nero takes 2nd place and once again I handle Luna with 2nd place and Troy winning his class, taking best puppy and going onto win the puppy working group class. Big well done to his owners Donna and steve............and I would just like to say a big thank you to them both for intrusting me with there dogs!..............I would like to finish by saying well done to our good friends Charlene and Serg on Kaskae Best of breed placement today............great results and great company.

We competed at Newmarket & District Canine Society it was a very long day but a great one with good comany and great results. Nero takes RESERVE BEST OF BREED. Well done to Tracey with Oska taking best of breed and Cutter 2nd place in open class. At this show I also handled for Donna, Luna took 2nd place and Troy took best puppy, We then went on to take working group 2.

Congratulations Nero - I took Nero out to Dublin to compete at the European winners dog show, Nero was in the Open class and was awarded 1st Excellent................reserve best dog and reserve CACIB..............we are so proud.

A huge thank you to Sue & John from the Marahootay Kennel for letting me travel with them. We had a great weekend with great company, great weather, great food and great results! They took a 3rd with Hadies in the champion class, and a 3rd with Meeko in the Junior class, big well done.

Nero's Uncle Diesel - Am Ch/NL Ch/Lux Ch Sno Quest's Limited Edition takes Best of Breed and CC ticket at Birmingham show Well done to his owners at the Stormchaser Kennel.
We took a very pleasant trip down to Cheddar Gorge, with the company of Tracey, Mark and Emily at Coldspell and Wayne and Bryony at Shamanictrax we had a great time, the 9 dogs we had between us enjoyed the weekend away with a lovely six mile hike on the Saturday! On the Sunday was a very relaxing day with great food and great company, then it was onto the quiz night with our team taking 2nd, A big thanks to Adrian and Rose for organising a great event!

CRUFTS
what a long day it was, getting up at 4am and not getting home till 10pm we were all very tired! We are so proud off all 3 of our dogs and we are very proud to say 2 of them was placed. Nero who was placed VHC in the very strong limit dog clas, Inca was placed RES in the strong Limit Bitch class. And unfortunately Nikita managed to blow her coat 2 weeks before Crufts, but she still looked good and moved very well it was a big class.
We are so proud of Nero he is truly making our kennel proud and we are delighted to hear he is making his breeders very proud too

We had such a lovely day out meeting up with friends. It was so nice to see Nero's breeders, Ivan , Giuseppe and catching up with Monika & Dennis too............................Many thanks to our friends Charlene and Serg for helping out with our dogs with being there dog sitters at the show, we really appreciate it.

Snow ...............................wooo hoooo we are always hoping for plenty of snow to make working our dogs a real arctic experience and that is exactly what we got!

Aviemore rallie held by the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain................. We made the long journey up to Aviemore with Mark, Tracey and Emily we had the best time with great company and lovely meals out. Neil and his team Nero and Inca ran in the D2 mixed sled dog class with a huge entry of 44. They finished 14th, overall they came 7th if you only count malamutes .They completed the course in 61.18 minutes!! Mark Cutter and Oska completed the race in 65.59 minutes finishing 20th place, we were all over the moon with the great result.
